QVI in NRC: Slimme camera spot afwijkend gedrag van reizigers op Schiphol

Op luchthaven Schiphol is de Koninklijke Marechaussee een proef gestart met intelligente camera's die afwijkend gedrag van reizigers opmerken. Het kan gaan om duidelijk afwijkend gedrag, zoals wilde armgebaren, of rennen door de aankomsthal. De camera's zijn ook in staat om subtieler afwijkingen te signaleren. Iemand die opmerkelijk lang op het toilet verblijft, een groepje mensen dat zich opsplitst, of iemand die ergens een koffer achterlaat. Hiermee hoopt de marechaussee criminelen op te sporen en aanslagen te voorkomen.
